what do you the reason why the ring is put in the fourth finger?

In every marriage or wedding, the wearing of the ring is always part of the event.
What is the reason of wearing the ring in the fourth finger.
everybody is wondering also, I'm sure. Some will just say that it is a symbol of love and sacrifice because the ring passed the heat of fire before it was molded. Am I right?

thats sweety^^ i think is romantic also i love to use rings in the fourth finger dont really know why. but is my favourite finger to wear rings^^ also i think that video was cute showing how the fingers cant separate representing the husband and the wife not separating but is so sad that nowadays people dont take marriage that serious as before.

I like the video. It is a cute explanation on how and why the wedding ring is placed on the fourth finger. It really is symbolistic of the two partners getting on with life through thick and thin no matter what. I also read before that it also where the radial nerve I think..no sure..runs directly to the heart..by the egyptian beliefs...

As far as Ancient Romans believed the vein in the fourth or "ring" finger of the left hand led directly to the heart. They called this vein the "vena amoris," meaning the "vein of love." and because marriage is a culmination of love between 2 people therefore the ring is placed in the fourth finger on the left hand in Christians as far as I know.

according to some research the reason the wedding ring is placed on the left, fourth finger beacuse there is a vein on that finger called vena amoris which was believed to be directly connected to the heart. :)
