i have two nearby countries always fight against each other just like two brothers who were part of each other for some years from now. they are the most fearist enemy of their own neighbourhood (like india and pakistan). why does this happen. Now when we have such situation we usally have sports as a medium to bring the two countris together, well it do bring people from different nations together but it does not solve the problem altogether. Actully if both country want to coexist peacefully then it should not b players that must play the game it should be the politicians that must be playing. what you think myloters is i am correct or wrong?

I don't believe sports can solve the problems of the disrupting countries. In fact, it can bring harm. Image the bad blood spill over from the sporting arena, it can jolly well lead to a war. Having said that, I believe sports can unite a war torn countries. Think of Ivory Coast. Soccer actually get the government and the militia to the table and a deduce was formed.

If sports does not cause a war between two countries, it cannot bring them peace as well. Sport can help them to develop a goodwill but we often see whenever there is a match between the players of two countries, the tampers are frayed, emotions rise, and a sort of hatred develops. Only bilateral talks between the leaders of two countries can bring a peace between them
