Male or Female?

I've noticed that some of myLotters here put their gender as Male in their profile, but they forgot about this when responding on some discussions - they blurted out that they are Females. Why did they do this? What are they afraid of being what they are? I thought myLot mentioned at the beginning that we have to fill in the profile truthfully? Am I to naive here? It's just that often I am not sure whether you are a real Male or Female.

Haha, I have not really encountered such question here in MyLot. I'm a female and so I put myself as female hehe. Hmm...but if that happens then, I really can't guess why they do that. And don't worry, I don't think you are that naive....you are just being honest, and being honest is a good attitude after all. have a nice day :-)

Yes, we have to be proud of being a female, or of being what we are.

I dont know as why some people would prefer to be indisguise of someone else.if you have no intentions to scam or lure others then what makes you hide your gender? i think those people are either insane or over reacting and they least trust people in this virtual world.i have come accross one lotter who is a he but claims to be a girl in here.great day.

Aw Professor, it is me who is hiding age. Hiding something is okay I guess since we want to protect our privacy. But misleading people is definitely a lie.

I never notice this ,if I do not read your writing . I think that we should fill the true information here , which can help us to learn each other more easily . But to be honest , I do not care about what is the people's gender here . That is not my business .

Yes, I don't mind either whether they are male or female. I guess, they limited themselves in a relationship prospect.

This is a trick to make female friends. There would be some female mylotters who dont add male mylotters. So they want to sneak into a friendship.

They would have to disguise themselves really well because the truth would come out sooner or later. Also those with ulterior motives would not last long...

The Truth is you can't ever be Sure about the person/people your talking to online. you see a picture and believe it's them? Not likely. Anyone can lie online.

Yes, they do not have conscience. I've tried to be truthful to myself, so I tried to tell the truth anywhere, even to virtual friends.
