Canon all the way. I have a 400D (hoping to get the 7d soon) a few lenses, 10-22mm, 50mm, 60mm macro and 18-200mm, tripod and flash. I love taking wide angle landscapes and some street photos. Also have a Canon Ixus 850 and a Powershot G11 that I keep with me most of the time.

i love to have a 18-200mm. i have 4 lenses right now 2 sigmas and 2 nikkor, i am sorry but i am not sure what are the specifics. i havent use them for a while. why? it is raining outside most of the time. dont want my gear to moist. is this just a hobby or you are a professional?

Nikon is great, but I am all about my Pentax K7 with limited primes. I have a Tripod but don't use it much. I also have a Canon S90 for my casual shots. It is a really nice point and shoot. I have to admit, my dream camera is a Leica M9. Maybe when I win the lottery or finish writing 10,000,000 mylot articles. http://cheapdslrprofessional.blogspot.com/

canon is very expensive. Nikon is cheaper. But my husband used Pentax k100.

I have a Nikon D40 with the kit lens, a Kata camera bag and a DIY flash diffusor. I do wish I had a telephoto and a macro lens and a tripod, but those can be purchased in the future, too. So far, I'm pretty satisfied.
