Doing the double take

I have noticed there are two discussion portals for the same subjects. One is life. It has at least two discussion portals. The other is makeup. Makeup also has two discussion portals. I do not know if there are any other doubles.
Is there a way the administration can combine these together and make just one? Reason is people may sign up for one and not the other, and miss discussions in these subjects. Besides the fact the discussion starters will miss an audience if half the people are in another area.
Has anyone else noticed there are two or more of the same subjects floating about Mylot? If so, can you post them here and tell us why they should or should not be combined.

There are many of them, I believe. People add them in different categories or with slightly different wording. Even myLot...

Wow. I hope that Mylot can tidy things up a bit. That is too many discussion portals on one subject.

i think relationships and children or had children has two portals as well. i dont know about make up har har har, i am not in that interest. 
. that is true that there are a lot of good discussion and if there are two portals and a member has add one of the portals then they could miss a lot of good discussion. but one way or another a member will discover it if they always update or add something on their interest.

I have never had a desire to begin an interest, I just join the ones that seem interesting to me. More than one is confusing!
