I have been watching the unrest in Thailand and could not help laughing at the soft approach with which the authorities are handling the protesters. I even saw the protestors chasing the police! What kind of Policemen manage the law and order in Thailand? Governments are not just changed at the whims of protesters. It seems to me that the Thai people are too impatient with periodic elections. They can hardly wait for 5 years to allow those elected in power to complete their terms of leadership.
