I don't know if it's true anymore, but it's traditionally thought that the biggest shopping day of the year is the day after Thanksgiving. Do you plan to be hitting the sales on that day or staying as far away as you can??? Personally, I hate shopping when it's that crowded so I plan to avoid shopping on that day!

It is the biggest shopping day of the year. One year, when my mom worked at WalMart a customer punched her because he didn't believe her that the store was out of a tv or something.

This year our Walmart will be open on Thanksgiving day to mark the beginning of Christmas shopping. I think they are going overboard by doing that.

I don't care much about the crowds and the lines don't bother me if I'm in good company.

It's not technically the biggest shopping day of the year anymore, but they still have TONS of big sales. I was going to go this year, my my husband says it isn't worth saving a couple dollars to have to deal with HUGE crowds or even wait in lines (around here they line up outside of some stores on Thanksgiving night at like 6 PM!!)
