Are you Happy with your Job or do you want to do a Business

Job or Business - Be a part of the crowd or stand out of it

I left my Job to start my Business. I felt that it was useless working for someone for your whole life and then in the end when you retire you have to survive on whatever you have saved your entire life which would be too little. But by doing business you really have the freedom to create a system for your self that will generate income for you even after you retire. I am working harder to create and set up my business that will earn me royalty even after i retire. What do you think is good for you? Have you ever thought of it?

I've been in both job and business... I would really go for a business...for the following reasons: 1. In Job, no matter how hard you work, your income is fixed spare for some bonuses, In business, the harder you work the more fulfilling. 2. In Job, you feel secure that you get a fixed amount monthly, But in Business, you create the jobs and control the stability of your company. 3. In Job, you can climb the corporate ladder but you can't reach the very top unless you become the owner..In business, you're the owner and the boss. 4. In job, you follow a strict 8-5 shift day in-day out... In business, you make your time.. you control your day off 5. In job, you retire with an endowment.. In business, you pass on a legacy to your children. 6. In job, you only feed yourself and your family.. In business, you feed hundreds and thousands of employees and family. 7. In job, you retire very old.. In business, you can retire very young 8. In job, you live within your means and salary, business you have adequate financial freedom.

Though I don't have any job for now and am just studying in a college but I also think similar to you. I also don't want to work for someone else and make him rich. I also think about starting my own business. At least I will be my own boss.

I am waiting for the confirmation for a job that I applied but it has been my dream since I was young to own a business someday. I want to have a restaurant or a boutique someday.

To be honest i do not work because i don have the ages. But in my opinion i think that it is better to be self-employed rather tan to work for someone else. Because when you are self-employed your profit will be better because you will work to produce enough as you want. That is my opinion. What about you?

I want to have my own Law firm or atleast partner with someone. I am currently seeking a better paid job to do my masters in HR and then I go to Law school but that is my dream and desire. My fiance has a business and I hope to help him with it to set up the HR dvision and so on in order for him to be better able to serve his em,ployees and for them to serve him too. He tells me all the time that he answers to no one but I answer to the Government.

I feel the same way, about wasting your time working for someone else's business. I've been thinking of learning to do business but I'm just starting out. I think there's so much to learn. And so much risk to take. I think I need a lot of luck here. I'm so afraid of failure, but I know I won't gain anything if I don't take risks.

I very much agree with you. Being our own boss by having our own business is the best way to go in these times of crisis. However, not everybody is cut out for business. You need to specialize in something that you can make money from. This is what I am doing now. The money may be little, but you feel rewarded and not as stressed.

Yes you are right but with the kind of economy we have now..you must think twice before leaving your job.! I am planning to have a business too but I must have tons of money to back up the business I am about to open if in case because you cannot predict what will happen tomorrow..So I must have back up money more than what I invest for sure.! that I have enough for maintenance because when you just started the business it will take time before it blooms like flower.! and of course do what makes you happy.! doing a business that you are really happy doesn't feel like a job but more fun everyday and you won't get bored!

I would like to open my own buisness but I would think that unless you sold the buisness for a lot of money you would still need to keep up with it to make sure your establishment was well maintained . I just don't know what I would do in terms of the current market. I would like to maybe open up my own bar, but in my city there are so many and the competition is way fierce as hell. but all one needs is a passion and the right flair right?

Yeah, I'm actually planning on starting my own business as well but I am still on the process of earning the capital. What I want to do is to establish my business first before I quit my job because right now, I am the breadwinner and without my job, we don't have anything. I am saving up all I can for that business, I actually have one in mind already and I started with some plans. I think this would be the best way to go from now because our jobs will not always be there, one day we may just be fired all of a sudden, so the business thing would be a good backup and also a good source of income for a longer period of time.
