I recently learned that you can also earn online by selling photography. I am take picture for a hobby and I wonder if I can earn extra income thru this. Any one who has an idea about this? Do you have any tips on how to start and go about this? Any sites you may want to share?

Shutterstock has a very good forum about stock photography and what sells. Shutterstock is top of the line, and they are very particular about what they will accept. But you can learn a lot on the forum, and even if you don't sell your photos there, the information is vey helpful for any stock photography site.

Hi maiaman. Yes you can sell photos online and get paid. You get paid based on the number of downloads you have. I have not posted anything but I did buy an ebook a few years back on online photography. Unfortunately, the ebook and password is in my spoiled computer. One thing though, the kind of pics that receive a lot of downloads are the ones on people wearing clothes attire, girls sitting at working desk, in the offce senario and stuffs like that. Just search and look for the web, hope you will stumble upon those websites. All the best.
