I personally think she got what she deserved. I am a big fan of celebrities, but I really getting sick of them wasting their god given talent. She really use to have talent unlike someone like Paris Hilton. Maybe Britney Spears dad can get conservatorship over Lindsay and whip her back into shape. Do you think Lindsay should go to jail? do you feel sorry for her?

...Hi there aurorastorm, Personally I think the young lady has a lot of problems which need to be addressed, if she would acknowledge them, on a coach. She needs deep therapy because there is apparently some demons that are tormenting her and she needs help. Talented and very smart people sometimes have slight mental problems which may take them into dark places if they cannot deal with them. Fame is not an easy thing to reckon with and walking in someone else's shoes might be in order here. Her ship is headed for the rapids if she doesn't take control soon. Jail might shake her up and help her to realize just where she is in life. It's very sad to see. Take care.

Very true, she definitely needs help, she has deep seeded problems. Stemming from being a celebrity at a young age. Plus her parents seem to be a little off the wall. Thank you for the welcome. I am really enjoying the discussions with new people. Don't know about making a lot of money, but like it regardless.

I think she really deserves it, and this should be like her wake up call and would bring her back to mainstream and to sanity after her jail term.. And I do wish that she would finish the three months and not just stay in jail for like 24 hours and then get out for good behavior or something. hehehe.

Ahh. So true, I guess the reality really is that celebrities have perks and stuff that normal people like us won't get..

It is funny, if you or I were to be sent to jail, we would never leave after a few days. It seems like with celebrities they are always let out early. If they would have just had good behavior in the first place they would not have been in this predicament.

i have to say that i agree with you. if you do the crime, you do the time. just because she (or anyone for that matter) is rich and famous, why should they be above the law?

I agree, its time for Lindsay to wake up and face reality. She's been getting away with things all of this time and now its time to take responsibity for her actions. It think it was really disrespectful for her to come into the courtroom with that message on her fingernails. If I were the judge, I wouldnt thrown her out of my courtroom. I heard on the news the other day that either she fired her lawyer or her lawyer left her. If her lawyer did leave her, I really dont blame her for leaving because she was making her look like a fool with trying to back linsday up for the lame excuses she made up. It is really sad that Lindsay is letting her talent go to waste and I'll pray her her that she turn her life around before its too late.

Exactly right they should not be above the law, no one should be regardless of money or anything else. I am glad that a judge in California finally decided to hold her accountable. Also hard to feel sorry for her with her putting some harsh thoughts for the judge on her fingernails.

No, I don't feel sorry for lindsay. It is just so sad that celebrities think that they can rebel and get away with it. They are just normal like us. If we have to behave according to the law, then so should they. They can't use their celebrity status to get off their charges. They do the crime, they do the time. I do hope that young people do take a note of this. Lindsay can be used as an example of what not to do. Sorry if I do sound harsh.

have you heard the latest? Lindsay is only in now for 2 weeks only. Funny thing that the girl in the next cell to her is the one of the group that broke into Lindsay's house.

I do not think you are being harsh at all. I think celebrities get away with so much stuff all the time that they actually become shocked when they are actually punished. They think one dui is no big deal, but if they killed someone when they were driving drunk, it would finally be a big deal to them.

I've seen the news on yahoo and she is crying. She needs to be discipline but is there any low offense than to be in jail for 90 days?

Maybe she take that for granted, does she really put a work "f*ck on her fingernail? I've seen that on yahoo but never read 'bout that.

I honestly think she has been given chances to turn it around and she basically scoffed at it all. She was suppose to go to classes and never did. I think she was only crying now, because she realized to late what she should have been doing this whole time.

I do not feel sorry for her and I believe she deserved the sentence that was put upon her by the judge. She didn't do the things that she needed to do in her probation and had made it worse for her. She put it upon herself to be put to jail because she did not do her responsibilities as well as wasted her God-give talents. She was given a lot of chances to change, but she ruined it and this is what she gets. I'm also a big fan of celebrities, but they should also take responsibilities of their actions, especially when their reputation is involved.

I agree with you. Sometimes we just let it be, that is why they are like that. It may be crazy but they should also be responsible with what they do. That's true. Good moral makes a difference. :)

I think we as their fans are too forgiving of them sometimes. They definitely waste their god given talents. I always think about if I was a celebrity would I be crazy. I was brought up with good morals though and I think that makes all the difference in the world.

NO, I don't feel sorry for her!!! I think she should have gotten MORE time!!!! Had I been out of the country when I had a hearing, Federal Marshalls would have escorted me home & I would have been taken straight to a cell. Of course, jail time for celebrities is NOT the same as jail time for the average Joe/Jane. She will have a private cell & visitors in her cell daily. She will also have a cell phone with her at all times. Bet she doesn't have one bite of jail food either!!! I feel that celebrities get much easier jail sentences than the average person!!!!

So true. I feel like they have it so much easier than the average person and yet they are always complaining. They have more money than most of the population, but get so much stuff for free, even including their meals. It makes no sense to me at all.

if the law says she should go back to jail she should go back to jail. on the other hand, now that you mentioned britney spears, i realized she was luckier since her father was able to put sense into her in getting her on track.

You are right and I think it is about time that a judge decided to use the law instead of letting these celebrities off all the time. Britney was really lucky that her dad stepped in for her. I think he really did save her and not to mention her children as well.

I think she got what she deserved and hopefully it will save her life. She needs displine which she never got from her parents and that is why she is the way she is today. Celebrities have to learn they are not above the law. I surely hope this has scared her straight and she will get back on track with her life.

I hope you are right, if this doesn't set her straight, nothing will. Her parents are both not good role models and will probably mess up her sister as well. Her mother needs to be a mother and stop trying to be her friend.

No I don't feel sorry for her. Even celebs have to learn the hard way. All the money in the world can't help some people, sometimes they are in desperate need of a reality check. With her being a role model for a lot of young girls, I think the punishment should serve to show what happens when you don't consider the consequences of your actions.

You are so right. I have a lot of sympathy for people and their problems, but in this case she had a great career, tons of money and decided to waste her talent. I can't feel sorry for someone like that.

Sometimes when celebrities get too popular and earn so much money they've been doing things like that. I don't know what are they doing with their lives. I think they are very unhappy with what they have that is the reason why they are doing this. For Lindsay I think she should be punish with her doings. She is always using her money to escape the consequences of what she was doing.

It always makes me wonder about these celebrities. What kind of friends do they have that would keep letting her drink and spiral downward. Why did they never try to tell her she is making a mess of herself. Same with Brittney.

no i personally dont feel sorry for her at all. if lindsey wants to waste her life then go ahead its her life and i could careless what she does. If she really wants to use her talent for good theen she would stop pulling all the crpa she pulls.
