if one says that he/she doesn't believe in the Bible,will that make him/her bad?

i know that this topic must be under Religion category. I just posted i there since it's a question anyhow. 
now on the topic itself, to the religious and semi religious mylotter friends, do you think that one's belief in the Bible makes a person different and lesser spiritual than those who know their Bibles?

Hello goddessjes,
a lot is having doubts about the bible. i myself doubt about the genesis, since i also believed strongly that humans came from monkeys except that we started evolving. the only thing that i don't agree upon is when a muslims doubts about it. since i have never seen a discussion about other people questioning the Quran, but they feel free to doubt the bible
as for those who don't believe in any religion, you're exempted

I dont think its necessary to believe or not believe in bible to be considered good or bad. If you believe in bible then its nice if you dont believe in it then its ok. One should be nice human who is happy and can keep his family happy thats all matters. Every person has different belief and different level of spirituality.

hi there.
yes i agree with you. these are stories perfected my men to teach humanity lessons on how to be better spiritual persons.
reason why i asked the question is because, i get violent reactions when i speak my mind about the holy scripture. i even got a comment that it is blasphemy am doing. that is why i just keep my thoughts to myself.
one even told me that i "should" know the bible in order for me to be a complete christian. come on, what kinda mentality is that. all i know is, i have a good relationship with my creator, i am a decent person, i never speak, do and think ill of anyone...and i guess that's what matters, right?

being spiritual doesn't depend on how many times you read bible or
how good you are at bible
it only depends on your belief
some believe in god and some doesn't so can you say that the people who don't believe in god doesnt have a spiritual sense??
that can't be true all the times is it??
so its all a mind's matter

Hmmm... Hi my friend. I wonder why some of our fellows do not believe in the Holy Scriptures, but anyway, I don't think it means they're bad. Maybe they just don't have much knowledge about the Bible, and some may say that Bible is just book made by men. Yes, men did Bible, but I believe that it's real author is God. It makes me so sad when I encounter people who are not interested on the Bible's content, and when they refuse to know it more. I wish they they get a chance to know and seek the truth behind it. No other books are as great as The Bible.

I can think of many good people, as well as spiritually advanced people who have never read the Holy Bible or even want to read it. There are also many corrupt or "bad" people who read the Bible & others who use the Bible for their own selfish purposes. What I can say is that I'm a better person for having read it & it helps us keep our minds on God or on Jesus & shows us how important guidelines for making right choices in leading simple, happy & fulfilling lives. It inspires us with good examples, noble & courageous deeds & helps to correct our own misguided ways of thinking sometimes. It uplifts us & helps us to cope with situations in our daily lives. It gives us hope for the future & reassurance or comfort when we are sick, for example. The medical profession have confirmed people with faith heal faster & tolerate suffering better than those who do not, & the Bible also helps us to that end.

I think knowing a bible doesn't some body more spiritual than the other whether you know the bible or not blessing comes from God,because i know a paster he raped a woman this shows that only knowing a bible doesn't make some body spiritual, i also know some people who don' know bible some much but they do many charity things.
