my little princess is turning one on august 16

My only daughter is celebrating her first birthday this coming August. I am planning of giving her a Disney princess party. I've been buying princess stuff since December 2009 and still i don't know if it's already complete. What else do I need for the preparation? Can anyone here suggest on what food to prepare. I want to give her the best birthday party because she is my only daughter.

I know you said you are giving her a Disney princess party and that sounds nice but does she really even know what that is? I would just stick with whatever foods she is now eating. Small, bite size foods for children her age. Also make sure you give her a special little birthday cake just for her to play with and sink her hands into. Most grocery stores give them to you for free for the children's first birthday. I think you just have to show them proof of a birth certificate. I have done this for both of my kids when they turned one years old. It was so cute to see them with their own special cake. Then of course we had a cake for the rest of the party.
