Commercializing HP!

I am a great fun of Harry Potter! From books to movies, I considered myself as a HP addict. But what concerns me right now is how Harry Potter is being commercialized. I really hate when people abused the popularity of something and ride with some propagandas and get lots of profit. The incoming movies itself shows how commercialized HP is. Dividing the story into two sequel will just burst to more income for the movie maker of this story. DUH! I know they will make some reasons why they need to make another movie for the last part. But the really score would be to gain profit!!!!!!! grrhhhhh!!!!!! For you do you think HP is being commercialized? I want to hear some sentiments from you guyS!

Haha. I like your post. The Harry Potter series, or any book for that matter really are for profits. They sell right? It's partly the point of publishing. Aside from the writers expressing themselves, they do this for a living. In franchises of Harry Potter like additional books, action figures, mugs, etc. the authors are receiving royalties. It is not being commercialized because books are made for commercialization since it's not a product of the government. I'm a very very huge fan of Harry Potter. We reserve the books before it comes out of the market, and I really don't mind buying the action figures, or the mugs or whatever franchise they throw in the market because it makes me appreciate the series more. Also, that the producers didn't make the last movie into two parts just because they want profit. It's last and final movie. If in the previous movies they cramped the story up in what just more than 2 hours, they couldn't do that in the last movie. They've got to tie-up loose ends, make sure it will be a one big concluding movie of the series. Hence, the two parts of the Deathly Hallows. I think we're insulting the SERIES and the AUTHOR if we're thinking that they just want to earn a lot of money because as I said, they receive royalties from the sales of the franchises. If we really love HP, let's just show our support for it by watching the last two movies. =)

Twilight is also making two parts out of the Breaking Dawn Book. I see no problem with the Deathly Hallows division into 2 movies. The Book was long, they should have done this strategy starting with the Goblet of Fire, in order to give a more detailed interpretation of the book.
