The WC creates sadness on one side and happiness on the other side

The stadium in Africa was packed with fans. What is worth noting to me is not the money betting scenario in my own place but the expectations of scores (goals) by fans from either side. I hope my way of supporting football matches is fair and is not ruining my emotion especially when the team that I support fails to win. I saw many of my friends supporting a team too obviously (emotionally) that they even put on the jersey of the team. For me, I supported in a fair way that I don't hate any team but I support both team. I support like this not because of their team's reputation in the World Cup records but because both teams possess those good players whose playing skills I can't ignore admiring-- the way how they dribble the ball, pass it accurately to a friend and that friend drives the ball into the net. I also cannot ignore admiring a good header that results a score from the opponent. After the match, I see the players of both teams shake hands. Why do they do that? I sum up in my mind that after the match, I'm sure, all players are satisfied to have played the game with the best playing skills and teamwork efforts. Scores, no score, winning or losing the match is not that I should like to on but the teamwork spirit, diligence, perseverance and playing skills that I behold in watching the matches. When a team loses the match, I try to go inside their feelings. It is not only joy of winning that we should share with but also the sadness of losing. So what is unaffordable to me to do is betting the winner with money because it would be too painful to feel the experience of the losing players. Why should I earn profit from people's sadness? So I never before and in the future bet money on any football matches. How about you? What do you feel towards the losing team? Do you bet money on them?
