Recently my friends we have all seen that how an Octopus which is named as Paul has predicted the outcome of six matches in FIFA. It predicted that Germany would win 4 times and it did. Next when The match Germany vs Spain was starting it predicted that Spain would win. And then the Germans became so angry that some of them want to kill the Octopus. It's Outrageous! Paul has achieved a lot of fame. What are your thoughts on the same?Do you want to kill the Octopus or maybe you want such a great animal to stay on?

I've seen this news on tv too. I had doubts if the octopus can really foretell what lies ahead... Though there are many unexplainable things around us but still I'm not fully sold to the idea that this animal can see things ahead of time. In my own opinion, it was purely accidental and coincidental. I have nothing against the animal, though. If it can sees the future then the better. We have someone err, something to forewarned us of further troubles in life ahead. I'd not kill him for such reason or for just any other reason for that matter. It is only doing what it is told to do.Why would I let an animals prediction gets into my nerves? I am transient and thus, I have to deal with this like a true transient being. :-)

lols.. eureka femme... that is really very nice of you to speak in favor of the animal ... and, what if the PAUL octopus is used to predict the results of WAR.. now that an urgent crisis internationally is brewing up.. between IRAN, ISRAEL and the USA? .. WHAT if we seek the readings of these psychic animals.. I heard about a brother to this PAUL .. another octopus also rightly predicting the results of soccer. thanks raviteja.. for a nice discussion.

Raviteja, do you really wanna know everything that lies ahead, dear? Even if there are mediums who can help us see the future still, the future can be altered. There's no guarantee that what we will see is hundred percent accurate to the real thing that is bound to happen.:-) Consultrainer,I am an animal lover. I have no heart for murdering an innocent and helpless animal. Would you answer those questions for me, dear? :-) If these animals is used to predict the damnation of different nations, why not instead use it to predict something positive? How about how to stop the war they are brewing up for a start? Do we really have to rely on those psychic animals and entrust our future with them? Just too complicated. I hold on to my first stand. Man is superior than any animal in this planet and man has God to protect him. With or without predictions, it is always man's call at the end that counts.

that octopus is just depending on luck to say all this.seriously do you think this is serious...?its so crazy.even if it is true germany will surely prove it wrong.i want to kill that octopus, it is so stupid saying that germany would loose Paul is only depending on luck and this is surely hidden by the scientists they surely know that this is false.i am so frustrated at that stupid octopus.

lols. it is all about jelly-brains now. There are view and counter views, talking about octopus intelligence now. And, almost all over the world, now the point in agreement is .. PARA NORMAL and the psychic behavior of animals.. .. if you ask me, I would not recommend slaughter to any living creature. .. it is our human weakness to seek prediction. .. and, it is not because of the prediction .. that GERMANY lost to SPAIN. ... I just stumbled on an interesting blog, from YAHOO .. on this octopus brain.

Its a funny thing. They wanted to kill the octopus and believe in the prediction itself. Why should they just not focus on the animal but on the game. They do not need a scapegoat to blame the situation.
