I use an old-fashioned cell phone

Dear friend, I use my cell phone really for the function, not for style or showing people my status with my cell phone. I don't understand why teenager, student in high school use blackberry or college student use a new coming style with a lot of function but they can't use or don't know how to use their cell phone except for call and short message service...

beacuse they are posers, they dont buy cell phone to use it for talking, they buy it to swank with it, i can't understand it too. very strange thinking..happy day to all of yours.

Marketing. Its all in how the product is presented. Teenagers are young and think they need the 'hot new thing' to be "cool" when the opsite rings true. Its only when you get older do you realize hot and cool aren't always the best choices to be making.

i quite agree with you. a friend of my daughters (they are both 13) has a blackberry which i think is utterly ridiculous! my 13 year old doesnt have a phone, nor do i for that matter.
