Best Study Methods

Okay, I just got bored of studying for a final exam that I have next week. It's a lot of theory, and for me, studying for those courses are the worst! So, I usually just read the text and make notes as I go along. That way, I am forced to learn what I read. And not only that, but I can always go back and read my notes. This works for me, but I wish there were some more exciting ways to study, rather than to just read and write. So, I want to know what works for you! What are some 'exciting' (not that studying is excinting in any way) study methods that work well and make it easy to learn?
