Traffic exchanges are meant to exchange traffic with each other you join a traffic site and you surf and visit sites on the exchange other people will visit you site and you get free traffic as long as you surf daily, besides there are traffic sites which pay money too for surfing daily so if you surf 5 sites daily as a batch you earn sure money..for example site one gives $0.30 for 1000 credits or 1000 sites surfed, site two gives $0.25 for the same so another three sites and if you surf 5 of these sites for one hour and surf 1000 sites in total you will get $0.25-$0.30 for sure every day....good luck ..there are other ways to earn with traffic exchanges too which one learns with experience.

wiki definition - A traffic exchange website receives submissions from webmasters that join traffic exchange networks. The person who submitted the website then has to browse other member sites on the exchange program to earn credits, which enable their sites to be viewed by other members through the surf system. This increases the number of visitors to all the sites involved. In other words you have to be a member of sites that maintain this kind of service. For you to be able to earn thru this kind of service people must view/visit your site. Same goes to you. You have to visit other member site to so they will earn to.
