Amazon mturk.com provides many offers for working at home jobs. Once you complete a task and submit for approval the owner rate the task. If the work is good, you get paid for it. I joined this website but I wanted to know what does it mean , "approved and payment pending". Anyone who is member at mturk please reply me. And does all the job requester really pay when your work is approved or there are spammers also.

Approved and payment pending means that the requester has approved your work but the money has not gone to your account balance yet. Once an Mturk employee transfers the fund from the requester's account to yours, the status becomes "paid"...Approved and payment pending basically means that you can be sure that your HIT is not rejected. Transfer of funds from requester's account to yours depends on how much time Mturk takes to do so. Usually takes not more than 12 hours! And you should beware of the scammers on Mturk. There are a few of them there. Try doing a few HITs by the requester and then see if all of them approves. If they all approve, only then go to do the rest of the HITs by the requester. There are some trusted requesters on Mturk like PhotoMod, Intellius, Conjecture Corporation, Retail Data, Casting Words, etc. These are one of the most trusted ones. You will generally find trustworthy requesters on Mturk but many a times you do get into the trap of scammers. So, just play safe!

Mavericcherub, once again you have being so helpful to those who really need to wrap there hands around the Mturk concept. Basically mturk is like microworkers and it's more genuine because of the involvement of amazon itself, but one demerit about mturk is it doesn't give international members chance to get paid monthly through paypal, it kind of difficult. All i could gather as a concrete information about international members payment is that you could get paid through their vouchers or shop from them with your earnings. I see the latter as a good option for international members to join the site but it sometimes doesn't give me encouragement to work there because like most online earners we like to see cash payments in our paypal or alertpay accounts. I think they should really try changing some procedures about the site and make it more internationally friendly.
