I woke up thinking about that ability to heal others. I believe that in order to heal either yourself or others you must be able to wake the body's own energy to heal, now I know I can help in this awaking but to heal the sick person must put their attention toward that, if doesn't take much just a short burst. So you say well what about someone who is not aware? The answer to that is that the subconscious mind is always aware, even if body is in coma. Do you think this is true?

About Reiki. Whenn my grandson was dying and in comma, I did REiki to him when he was restless (according to measures from the nurses). His pulse lowered and his face looked peaceful.

Since I fell last week, I have been using Reiki on my bruses and they are clearing much faster then expected. I use this on our animals and family members all with good results. The very best thing is you know you can do no harm using this form of healing.

I would not tell anyone to have Reiki and stop using meds, for instance. But, as you say, it does no harm. And I know it can help in many ways, some unknown.

Very true. I once sent energy to someone who was unconscious and when she woke up 3 days later, she told her daughter, my friend, that she dreamed of me applying my hands on her to help her. This is what I saw in my mind as I was sending her Reiki. So it works, Im a believer. Its sad that at other times, it doesnt work and I still havent found out why.

Oh yes, I know this. Nonetheless, it doesnt make it any easier when you try to help someone and its not happening. AND Im not doing this to feel superior or anything like that. Most people dont even know Im sending them healing energy. I know it can NOT hurt. I know about our souls, Im a Past Life Therapist.....but it doesnt make it any easier when you lose someone you love. I know that person is ok but Im the one hurting and missing them.

I used to attend meditation classes a few years ago and the lady who was running them suggested I try my hand at healing. She taught me the techniques and, although I had a problem staying grounded while attempting to heal a person I improved with time. Once while I was ‘practising’ on a friend a strange thing happened, cold air went through the room, we could both feel it and there was no one else there with us and it felt like an energy of some kind went through both of us; I can honestly say it did not feel pleasant. Nothing happened after that but it made wary of trying healing sessions again! To answer your question I do believe that the subconscious mind is always aware, even if body is in coma. I believe stories I’ve heard about people waking up from a coma claiming they heard their loved ones talking to them.

If you feel you have the ability to become a healer, you must learn to protect yourself from negative energy. When I am preparing for this I always clean the aarea of any negative influences. i use Reki but there are many other paths.

I don't know. My dad was in a coma when he was a little boy after getting hit by a car. While he was in the coma he thought he had talked to people and he had gone to places and seen things when the whole time he had actually been in the hospital bed and not gone anywhere. He was only dreaming but to him it was so vivid and so real.

i agree with vedanta-you can't just wake up and think you can heal people. its not like that.

I was raised in the Vedanta/Hindu religion as a child and as an adult who is into Reki I have found no conflict between the two.

To have the ability to heal others is a rare quality. To gain this quality one have to understand the feelings and pains of the suffered person. Have to be patience d enough to deal the suffered person.
