Have you ever tried to remember something but just at the crucial moment it was needed you forgot to get it? How does it feel when your the only guy who forgot something and every one else didn't? How did you cover yourself during such embarrassing situations?

This always happens to me, especially after my c-section. I think the anesthesia had a lot to do with it. Its actually more annoying than embarrassing.

Hi Dfhonline, I think that is due more to the hormones after having a baby than the c section as I was so forgetful after all three of mine lol

The place I worked liked to have a little party during our staff meeting near Christmas. There were only 9 people, so we drew names for the gift exchange. We all tried to make it a really special time, everyone bringing a special treat and taking the time to get a special gift for the exchange. One year, we had a guy who got my name. The day came for the party, and everyone was there. He forgot his food. Ok...no big deal. We started exchanging gifts. I had someone else's name, and all was fine, Everyone opened their gifts, and someone said "your turn" to me...and there wasn't one for me. He forgot. He just didn't care to participate. It really made me feel embarrassed...like left out. I guess some people are just thoughtless and don't care about others feelings. He did bring a gift when he came to work that night...like an afterthought. It may not have been nice of me, but I refused to accept it. The damage was done, and that did not make it better.

I do this all the time I will walk into the kitchen to get something and get there but forget what I went in there for. Important things though like meetinds I have always been organised for and not had to suffer the embarrassment. Huggles. Ellie :D

Yes, I have experience this quite many time, I think this is because when people start to getting old, they will tend to forgot a lot of things. Or may be when they have too many thing in their mind that they need to think, at certain moment, they will forget and cannot recall something.
