Octopus oracle Paul should predict other things, what do you say?

Spain won FIFA 2010 but the biggest star to have come out of the 2010 FIFA World Cup is definitely the Octopus oracle Paul. With Spain becoming the World champions, the German oracle has now got all 7 of his predictions right.
If he can predict things 100%, I believe he should predict other things like recession, economic growth, terror attacks, death, disasters and the list will go on. Maybe people will say that I am expecting too much but this is what came in my mind. If Octopus can predict Cyclone well before it occurs, we will be able to save many lives, if octopus can predict recession companies can take corrective actions,
If octopus can predict terror attacks many lives can be saved.
There are many things in life that we want to know before they occur, I do not want to know positive things but the one that can save a life or money or anything for good cause will be great.
Do you agree to this?

Paul has its limitations in making choices. He can choose only one of the two cans full of clams. It means he can make predictions only logically by giving a tacit nod to either yes or no.
In case of 2010 FIFA, world cup it was easier for it because he had to choose only one can out of the two bearing countries flag. Coincidentally he opened only the one, which happened to subsequently win.
There is no gainsaying that something indeed influenced the Octopus to choose the right can. I do not think scientist even after greater technological advancement would be ever able to solve this mystery.
It only goes to prove one thing. There are more things in this world than what meets the eye.
May be the mystery will be revealed after 2014 FIFA world cup only if Paul happens to goof up.
Another method was to subject another Octopus to similar tests to find out if Octopus really has an ability to predict.

9 brains, perhaps that is the reason he can see far than we see. He predicted things very clearly and was 100 % from him. I wish he would be available for next FIFA or at least 2011 ICC World Cup.

Sadly octopuses live only for three years for a stretch. And Paul is already 2 1/2 yrs old. So, he won't be around for the next 2014 FIFA world cup. May be it would end up in someone's plate and the one who eats it would have more brains in his stomach than in his head. Octopuses have 9 brains, and we humans have just one.

I know the prediction comes true...This could be that when he predicted Spain to be the winner....they had a psychological advantage over it. I dont believe in horoscopes or predictions. but yes hats off the Octopus Oracle Paul....i dont know how he does it.

Science can explain quite a lot thing,but there are always many mysterious things which science principles can't explain easily as well.

That is a mystry as to how can someone get to know future outcome but yes he did great on FIFA 2010. Maybe that psychological advantage was there for Spain but that only cannot win the match, may be a positive energy helped them.

I have heard the news that this magical octopus will retire after this World Cup.What a pity! But I think your missions need to be predicted will be too tough for him to predict.As we all know,octopus like eating shrimps and crabs very much and their colours are red or yellow. Coincidently the national flags of Germany and Spain all have these two colours,thus the octopus fancy these two countries more than other countries.Meanwhile,there is also balck in German national flag,so the octopus perfer Spain as their whole red and yellow colours to some extent.Last not least Germany and Spain are all strong and always win in the competitions so that Paul always choose the correct side.So I think if you want something to predict correctly by the octopus,maybe you should paint colours on them because of the sensitive sense ability of Paul.

I personally think that Paul is just simply getting lucky, and it's somewhat of a dumb, entertaining, pointless thing to track. I say Octopus Oracle Paul can predict other things, but that just gives him plenty of more chances to be wrong in a prediction. This octopus has been right for quite a while! It would suck if he got a prediction wrong now!
