Days out with the children

As the summer is here I have been trying to take my daughter to different places and one thing which is really annoying me at the moment is that to go to a childs place - specifically designed for children only - why should we parents have to pay so much to go in ourselves! It isnt for us - its for the children! I understand paying for the children to go in though why should we have to pay when its not for us? It makes days out so expensive and quite often I feel bad that I have to say no about going places due to this.

YOu have made a very valid point! Maybe they can charge for the kids and let the adult in free, even let one adult free since the kid can't come without one! Lots of other places let the kids in free.. why not turn it around?

This is something that I have always found so very annoying!! There is a park near to me that has a play area for under 7's, you pay £1 for each child but if you have children over 7 or more than one adult you have to pay £1 for them even though they're not using anything - needless to say I tend to ignore it!! Taking the children out these days is expensive enough, by the time you buy drinks, ice creams etc
