His love makes us special

Someone once said to me, "We are loved not because we are special, but we are special because He loves us". I took a while for me to really understand the depth of those words but in time I have come to understand it more. We are special because He loves us, not because of what we do or who we are but because He loves us unconditionally.How reliefing that is.

What a wonderful discussion. God loves us because He gave us the FREE gift of mercy through His Son. I know I am loved by God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. I love others through God. I love others, even though their behaviors may be sinful. It is the person you love, not his behavior.

Yes, I believe that you are right and what makes us even more special is that we know Him and we could experience Him and His love. God loved all people but many people dont know that, that's why they are not aware of this type of love and thus, they could not receive God's love. God indeed loves us, and He is just waiting to for a response, a loving back response... God bless.
