Rainy season is here i can sense that. I am experiencing heavy rain here and I hate it every time a lightning appears followed with a very lowed thunder.. I'm really afraid of these. It makes me tremble every time I heard a very loud thunder. I heard on the national news that many have died because of a lightning that struck them. Oh, I just pray that this heavy rain will end up soon. Are you afraid of loud thunders and lightning?

i'm not really scared of thunders and lightning. but they do surprise me. and when i see a long streak of lightning, my heart flops a little bit. the other night, i barely slept because of the typhoon here in the philippines. the winds was really strong, it felt like they were screaming and howling. all day long yesterday was a blackout. some places here in the philippines haven't gained electricity back yet.

Hello! When I was a little kid I do not like a thunder and lightnings. When they are happened I was always scared. I was remember a big storm what was happened before some years at my place. It raged for about a week city electricity was lost. All authorities was closed including school. I have never in my life so scared like then. But, over time I grew up and now I do not not scar anymore. I had experience about lightening once lightning struck in my Internet modem and second time lightning was struck in the three in front of me I was only 1m from that area. This is my bad memories about lightning. In my place we have a sunny weather already several days. Take care, Have a nice day!

When I was younger I was very frightened by lightening and thunder but then I became a mother. That changed everything because I did not want myh son to be frightened too so I had to overcome my fear which I did by just trying to be rational and tryiong to avoid being outside in a storm. While my son was growing up I explained that thunder was the clouds having an argument and that lightening was the sign that they were about to fight again, just as though it was the next round in a boxing match. This worked and we both used to listen and count the seconds between the lightening and the bang of the thunder. It has worked with other children that I have been baby-sitting for too

Yes, I am still afraid of them, especially when it is very loud. I always think that it is already the end of the world whenever I hear very loud lightning and thunderstorms that's why I am afraid. But now, I try to be brave and try not to fear these two loud noises.
