Hi friends, as per Jawaharlal Nehru institute of technological University Hyderabad there are six theoritical subjects and two laboratorities in engineering 2nd year 2nd semister in Electronics and communication(this is only about ECE). Subjects: 1.EM waves and Transmission Lines(EMTL) 2.Anolog Communication(AC) 3.Object Oriented Programming(OOPS) 4.Switching theory and Logic Design(STLD) 5.Pulse and digital circuits(PDC) 6.Control systems(CS) Labs: 7.Anolog Communication Lab 8.Digital Communication Lab Applications: EMTL and AC are related to communication, STLD is related to VLSI Design, OOPS is related to Computers and CS is related to electric machines. My openion: If we get good percentage in this semister we have good future in future. EMTL and CS are tough subjects(i think) and STLD is very simple subject. Do you have any openions on this course structure. Share with me

Engineering education has a great value in the society, i don't know why you lack the interest on this course.

you right, but all lecturers are not like that, some are not followed standard books, and they have just 45minutes class in a day, then how can they explain in detail. My request to the lecturers is please develope the concept on every engineering topic, then only the students can grasp the subject. Vinod you have to develope concentration yourself and you can share your thoughts with your friends. Group discussions will make our mind bright...

I am not feel bore in all subjects. It is because of lecturers. They don't know how to develope the concept on syllabus, they just go through local author books. When i ask a doubt, i crossover it, they can not try to answer my question.

I got 96marks in pdc, pulse and digital circuits is really a useful subject for us in future. We get good jobs in circuit designing companies..

We should be perfect in Mathematics and physics. Physics units and dimensions are also play a keyrole. To get good marks in Java we have to good thinking power and develope your concepts.

Integration and differentiation is very very very important. Without mathematics and physics we can't pass the engineering.

I got 97marks in STLD, but my percentage decreased because of OOPS and CS. OOPS is not related to our branch so i got less..

Object Oriented Programming Language is nothing but JAVA language(of couse you know that), we are electronics student so we not concentrate on it, so you and i also got less marks..

Hi friends, I am failed in Control systems, Really it is so confusing different logics we have to use for various methods of reducing the diagrams...

Don't worry ubaid, Failures are common in Engineering, First we have to learn the subject then we get marks easily..

I got 99 in STLD it is a easy subject and very useful subject. We have to use logical thinking. If you have well command on stld then you can able to design vlsi and other circuits.

yes swapna, it a simple subject(i already mentioned above). Many students are followed Godse book for this subject, Of course it is lucid manner but we have to follow Some other standard books also...

I am failed in EMTL, alas, it is so so so hard subject. Electromagnetic lines, EM spectrum, Equations, E, H, D, B about these so hard.... Commonly most of the boys failed in engineering..

Actually EMTL is a very very easy subject, we have to read and practice well. We have a good command on fundamentals. E-Electric flux intensity H-Magnetic flux intensity D-Electric field density B-Electric field density We have to concentrate on Ampere's law, Faraday's law, Poynting theorm, and there are many theorems in this subjects which are extensively used in Communication and in Antennas.. So my friend read well, And you that girls are read very good in engineering, boys also. But many are interestless.

I got 76percentage. STLD and PDC are simple, we get good marks when we study well, maintain proper notes. all the best friends,
