Oh, my gosh. Paypal just ripped me off for $2.00 transaction fee for the cashout I made from mylot. What a is going on? I didn't notice this policy change. I suppose got $12.00 from mylot this month, but when I logged into paypal account, there is $2.00 short. And when I take a further look, there is a policy change notification on my home page, I didn't read it thoroughly, but something about $10 - $20 charge back fee impose on those transactions. What a ripped - off. Is there anyway we can avoid such rip - off?

The fee for receiving money on paypal is 2.9%+$0.30. If you got got $12.00 from mylot you should have only $0.64 off for receiving it. The only reason you might not have gotten $2 is because you might not have earned that much...The fees are paid by you so they are taken out of the amount mylot sends you and if you had reached $12.00 you would have $0.64 taken out. Only way to get $2.00 taken out would be if you earned $58. I dont understand the chargeback fee completely but I didnt see anything about receiving money.

I have never been charged a fee from Papal on this site. I would ask paypal and mylot both what had happened. I thought we were not charged a fee for being on here. I have always gotten the correct amount from Paypal and on here as well. I like Mylot because they do not charge a fee for their service.

Well I've received payments from other sites through paypal and that's never happened to me. Maybe you only made 10 and the rest came after the payout. Or maybe the fee just came out of nowhere. I gotta say that sucks for you and I hope it doesn't happen too many times again.

I don't thing if paypal will rip their members. But on your case, i can see if the charge fee is not common and it must be an explanation for it. I think you can try to contact the paypal support and ask them what actually is happened on your paypal account. I think since the transaction fees calculation is mentioned clearly on their website, so we can ask them if there's suspicious charge on our account. But remember that you also need to use your paypal account not for illegal transaction because i heard that paypal will charged back your account or even terminating your account if they found something suspicious on each of your transaction. But if you are sure that you have never done something illegal using your paypal account then just go ahead to ask the support about that high transaction fee on your account. I have received my payment from mylot for several times and i think there's nothing like such high transaction fees so far. Actually i never really care about how much is the transaction fee on each money received transaction on my account since so far i saw it always less than one dollar. So that's mean the transaction fee for receiving money about ten dollars will not about two dollars. Good luck for you and have a nice day. Happy mylotting.
