What is your favorite tv station / channel and for what reasons?

television - The television set, one of the favorite pastimes for several people who like to be couch potatoes. Various channels and several programmes with just a press of a button.

Tv channels have increased as years went by. However i still tend to stick to the same channels which have been my favorites for years. How about you? I tend to stick to local channels.

I love to watch MTV , Arrirang(Korean channel) and other local channels as well because I love listening to music and watching the videos.I also love to watch other stuffs in local channels.

Discovery Channel, NatGeo, Living Asia, Lifestyle Network, Maxx, Nick, CN and Disney Channel. I rarely watch local channels. And Movie channels? Rarely too because I just download movies all the time so I can watch it anytime. The trouble with tv movie channel is you can't pause it. XD

I have move a bit over the years (New Jersey to Pennsylvania to Georgia back to New Jersey and then to a different part of Pennsylvania).For that reason, my local channels have changed. For broadcast TV, I watch channels hat have shows I want to watch. For ocal news, I watch either of two one particular channels because I like the weatherman (who the same is on both channels). For cable, I find myself mostly watching USA or SyFy, even when they are showing reruns. I do also like the History Channel and some shows on BBC America. For news, I miss a cannl that I think was called the Global News Network which was on satellite and had new shows from all over the world. I liked that channel because there was less news bias than on the American news networks.

I love the following channels HBO, AXN, National Geographic, MTV and Dicovery Channel. I love these channels coz they give very good and quality shows.

I tend to stick to local channels myself as I can not afford cable. It is hard to choose from PBS to ABC. If I had cable, I would not be able to choose my favorite as I have a few that are tied in first place. All sports channels, Food Network and Animal Plant. So, If I had cable, I should have a room built just so I could have a bunch of TVs.

Hmmm, I love the shows featured in Jack TV and in HBO... Of course, I still watch programs from local channels. Also, I like Nickelodeon,Cartoon Network, Disney Channel, and etc...:)

I always like to see discovery travel and living channel. Its just one of my favourite channels among all. Its simply because i love travelling very much, i love experimenting with food, i like eating, meeting people, seeing different places. And this channel is purely dedicated to travelers like me :), i got lot of dreams to the places i want to travel to in my life.

I have a few favourite channels though one which has stayed a favourite of mine is the BBC channels. There is so many different genres on this group of channels and quite often cover pretty much everything I like to watch.
