The news are almost official, as of now. The final decision will be made this fall after is US tour, either way he won't be returning to KAT-TUN - if he succeeds, he'll have plenty of solo activities to do in Japan and overseas, if he won't, the agency won't make him return to KAT-TUN since it wouldn't be fair after he left them for half a year. I am a huge Jin Akanishi and KAT-TUN fan, and I still don't know how to react to this. Firstly, I have to say that I very much prefer 5nin KAT-TUN - not musically speaking, but from a personal point of view. While Jin's voice surely adds something more to the songs, the atmosphere is far less tense when he's not around. And now, I just hope Jin will succeed as a solo artist and won't leave or disappear into thin air. I'm okay if he doesn't want to be part of KAT-TUN anymore, he's not just an A of the group, he's a young boy with talent and dream, and it's only right to make him try to achieve them. It's the first time something like this is happening in a Johnny's group, so I still don't know how things will be worked out in the end. And... I don't know, I just wanted to share my thoughts. I don't even know if there's someone interested in KAT-TUN or Jin out there.

I'm not surprise that Jin "graduate" from KAT-TUN. He doesn't seems to be enjoying himself when he's in KAT-TUN though.

Jin will always be part of KAT-TUN for KAT-TUN fans. I respect him for his decision leaving the group. If that what he really wants then i'll support him all the way. His Yellow Gold Tour just finished and it was successful. At least, he is now following his dreams. :)
