Well mylotters I really didn't know where to post this so I will put it here. I am not a big game player but I would like some input from those of you who do play pc games. I am running a Dell pentium 4 with hyper threading and I have 4 gig of ram to boot. My processor speed is 3.2 and of course a single layer chip. I do however have a pretty good graphics card installed and a large screen monitor. I think the card has about 1 gig of memory on it. I like action games where you shoot things or simulators where I get to fly helicopters, etc. I definitely do not like role playing games and I already have all the poker games I want. I need something with a little more ummph. Please share your favorite games with me so I have some choices to choose from. Remember, I am not using a dual core processor only a pentium 4 3.2 but I got plenty of ram and 120 gig hard drive that isn't a third full. I also know a little about iso files and how to burn then to dvd's but I would need a little guidance on that seeing how expensive the dual layers are.

For PC eh? Well... It's a little bit hard, because action games are not always just shooting, like in Batman: Arkham Asylum which I find just so great. You could try that or GTA IV at least, and of course the GTA IV's expansions are also just awesome! If you would have a PS3, I would definitely tell you to buy Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, but Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is also great. Did you perhaps mean that you like FPS games (Firs Person Shooter) like Halo, which is also just great. Halo: Breach is the newest Halo that's coming out by now, so I think that's going to be great. Also, you like flying simulator games, but I unfortunately don't play too much of those neither. I know that there are a few good ones, and at least one good one for PS3, but I don't know about PC... In the good old times, there where TIE Fighter and other Lucasart's simulator games, but now there is mostly only crap... Anyway... It's a shame you don't like RPGs (Role Playing Games) because I just adore them! But you asked for a action game where you shoot a lot, then I think that either GTA IV, Halo or something like that is your choice. List of "good" FPS games: Modern Warfare 2 (mostly online multiplayer) and other CoDs (Call of Dutys) Killzone 2 Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Halo's And many, many more...

You understood what I was trying to say perfectly. I think I will start with the Halo and maybe a new sniper movie out. Thanks for responding

I'm glad I could help Hope you will be satisfied with Halo, even if it is a Scifi FPS... If you like Scifi even a little, then you will like Halo

GTA 4, hands down the best game there is on the planet. I played it at a female friends house, yeah she isn't a girlie girl at all, and we both had a lot of fun, I teased her saying I would never want her to give me a ride and we laughed like complete maniacs when she crashed into pedestrians on the pavement the whole time. And it also entails having to fly helicopters and stuff.
