I remember it was mentioned in my university years that there are three certain colors a baby easily recognizes. I would like to know which one was the first realistically.

Hi hushi22, I don't have any idea how to answer the question asked above. I'm curious and keen to know it but it's rather disappointed that you haven't mentioned here though you say that they were mentioned in your university days years before. Yeah, I recall as well our elderly people like hanging big and lovely conspicuous stuffs in bright red color right above the baby cradle to attract their attention. Might be red is one of the color a baby could recognize during their initial age. I then try to surf for more answer online. I have read one about many big baby toys in black and white color are available in the baby stuffs department. Red color is mentioned as well. I couldn't get the accurate answer anyway, though I have read a couple of articles about the "color baby can see". I hope you would share with us here whether what are the three colors had mentioned in your university before? Looking forward to hearing the answer Happy posting
