Dark Days

Hi dian, "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge." this psalm undoubtedly fascinates a religious mind. And we tend to interpret this solely on its strength. Unless one's though and action does not break the barrier of triviality and narrowness it is not possible to attain sublimity. Only a sublime soul can go deep into it and see the essence of humanity. Thinking that this must be God's grace that we are protected is nothing but cutting ourselves off the grace of God. What we need is a higher notion of the entire universe. The universal brotherhood and love for man kind is what would would finally prove the shadow of God that shields us from all evil. Thanks for sharing.

The saying of Psalm 91 needs to be understood with a dispassionate and all-accepting mind.We are so much attached and clung to our narrow cell of individual and sectoral interests in terms of community,race,color,nationality,religion,language and many divisive elements,we fail to think of dwelling in the " shelter of Most High",breaking the walls of our individuality powered by personal ego and interest. Dwelling in the shelter of the Most High means embracing an universal life devoid of all narrow differences. It is feasible only when people, at individual level,strive to change their mind-set and elevate themselves to much higher level of awareness of existence of life. The saying reveals the absolute truth of life. We must free ourselves from the bondage of our narrow circles and spiritually empower ourselves to receive the ever flowing grace of God,on permanent basis. Thanks.
