Do you think Charice Pempengco ruined her shot to stardom because of Botox?

Yesterday, I saw a video of Charice where she is being injected with Botox by a famous Doctor in the Philippines in preparation for her role in Glee. They said it was because of her love for chewing gum that is why her jaw got bigger. So they injected botox and applied thermage to her face so it would look smaller. Now her US rep is saying she had that done because she had jaw pain and Botox is one of the treatments for it. Do you think this will hurt her chances? People don't take kindly to botox, much less on a teenager. What were they thinking?

It may or may not. Only time can tell. Thing is, this girl is just 18 and I can remember myself at 18 -- vulnerable to suggestions from people I trust. I would bet that somebody she trusts convinced her to go through with those procedures. What's sad about it is that the incident looked more like a media stunt for the Belo Medical Group. I've seen tweets from Twitter that supposedly came from Charice's mom saying Belo broke the patient-doctor confidentiality. Well, I just think she (Raquel, the mom) shouldn't have allowed her daughter to undergo botox injection in the first place! Nothing was mentioned about TMJ in the news video footages where Charice was being injected by Belo. I guess the publicists are trying to do damage control now thus the new announcements. Unfortunately, many are already disappointed and dismayed by the fact that a young star, who's being looked up to by so many teens, may have just given her fans reasons to become dissatisfied about how they look too :(

Botox is far beyond her talent, i think so , the doctors knew that..she was discovered not by her face but by her excellent singing, botox can of course help her to enhance more her physical appearance, but i think it does not effect her Career...she will be used to it...

you should have included the video link here. for most of those, who wish to see, or WHO should be forced to see such videos... alas, a beautifully natural face is lost! ... and a wonderful career is closed. just because of an eager beaver.. who ruined the muscle tone. but, now they are saying.. there is a natural poison, to replace this artificial bacteria induced poison.. in place of BOTOX .. they are now injecting CARBON DIOXIDE, .. the gas! .. -----------if you would remember, the waiting list of famous cosmetic surgeons, who were injecting BOTOX ..some 4 years back.. used to run into 6 months, and beyond too. people are always crazy to try out even snake-poison!
