and enjoying it. My bestest friend in all the world won't get on the computer. She is scared she will mess something up. So we are sending mail back and forth. When was the last time you send a piece of snail mail?

I regularly snail mail to my hubby's aunt and a couple of other ladies aged 60 and over. Hubby's aunt has a pc but it just doesn't seem right ot send an e mail, plus i like the postie bringing me letters and putting them through the letter box

I get Netflix and bills. I used to hear from my BFF but it hurts her too bad to write so we don't do that anymore.

I had a letter come the other day asking me to go and give blood! They are in town tomorrow so have booked a slot for 1pm, but they might not take my blood as sometimes I don't have enough in iron in it. Hate giving blood as they have problems finding my viens

They usually do a platelet test or something that tells them whether your blood is what they want or not. I would be sure they are using a small needle. I have learned that they will use a big needle to make it go faster unless you ask for a small one. Besure and drink or eat something after and rest for afew minutes before you take off. Mother has spoken!

It's been four years for me now. I used to write my grandmother in California. She would get on the internet and chat with me sometimes but the sanil mail was more definate to her..so we wrote back and forth very often. She was really big on cards and thankyou notes too..lol.

I am very fond of sending snail mails. I was even engaged in mail art back in 2000 and it's all about sending your art through mail - and in any form - to people anywhere in the world who are actually strangers. I got into mail art because I used to send snail mails and postcards to friends and never even got an acknowledgment. I think I got tired of sending and decided to just do some arts and send it to strangers, which, surprisingly, turned out to be more rewarding because these strangers either answer back via snail mail, too(which is not a requirement), or send a short note of acknowledgment thru e-mail. Either way, my work was acknowledged. I hope you continue your snail mails with your friend because not a lot of people are receptive to it these days.
