Are you allergic to certain types of fruits?

Unfortunately I am allergic to kiwis. I love them so much but I can' eat them. If I eat a small slice of eat my throat and tongue get kind of itchy and seem to be swollen. Have you ever experienced anything like that.

I'm not sure if it is considered as an allergy... I get diarrhea whenever I eat papaya.
