Im sorry but can someone explain that one to me? Arent our soldiers out there to KILLas in WAR? So why would they accuse one of them of murder because the guy they shot wasnt totally dead......so mercy is NOT acceptable during a war? But thats not the point, the point is that soldiers go to war to KILL, so why do they accuse them of murder when they come back? Anyone can explain this one to me please? Heres a link with the story: http://www.thewhig.com/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=2675302

Ok so they say he shot an "unarmed" man. But its a WAR.....they also kill "unarmed" civilians when they drop bombs, so should they all accuse them of murder also? I dont understand. Its a war, they kill people during a war, so why say its murder for one and not for another?

well dropping a bomb and shooting somebody in the face is different. One is used to reduce casualties for their side. And it is always better than going down there for yourself.

Id be in deep trouble if I had to go to war. Im against wars, especially when they give the wrong reasons for the fighting. This war is a joke and the result of greed only.

It's not moral to try to kill a wounded enemy, but I don't think it's wrong. It's always the politicians who dispatched them to the wrong, meaningless war should bear the blame, not the soldier's fault.

I think so too. I hate wars and I dont know why we're still acting this way in 2010....what is wrong with our heads of state that they cant solve their problems by sitting down like adults and discuss the matter. Besides, why are we mingling in other people's affairs to begin with?

well the geneva convention. rules that limit the barbarity of war. There is really no point of killing a already dying unarmed man. Its just barbaric. theer is acting morally in a war and just going into war. if anyone just kill each of their POW's in war then their would be more than double in deaths in ww2 and other wars. if the enemy knows that you will if they will be captured theyll just be killed, theyll act more crazy in war and with your prisoned colleagues.
