Global Warming.....a myth? :/

Now I have been watching the news for quite some time and all i see is leeaked documents from a certain scientific department that lead to this whole global warming hype. Some say the hype was done on purpose and what not.
But what I would like to know from my fellow users is "Is Global Warming a myth?"
There is simply nothing we can do. It is like terminal cancer the only thing possible is to slow it down. Is it worth it?

To cut it short, no, it is not a myth. however many details about it are myths brought by people who know nothing about the subject matter.
So yes the effects have been measured, we now know that it's occuring, the debate is concerning the rate at which it progresses and if possible increases in cloud coverage due to global warming is going to diminish it's effect and to what extent.
It's an ongoing investigation, so stay tuned !
As an advice, don't get the crap on tv about the subject. If you want good info about it, search for scientific peer-reviewed articles on it.
