I sometimes hate the media. the amount of sh!t we take from them every day is unaccountable. One day i say the news caption...A clebrity uses public toilets. The indian celebrity was travelling by road and wanted to urinate and he used the public toilet and the media make sa big issue of it. Do you like such news.

that's not news.... the media publishes so much crap, but I'm more concerned about the bias in reporting certain things and not others, or slanting things to look a certain way instead of just publishing facts and letting us make up our own minds...

Yes, biased reporting is one of the most deplorable things some media people do. It happens a lot, unfortunately, and people buy them because many prefer being fed information rather than processing it in their brains :(

hello edward, It is their duty to give us information regarding events, world news and even with celebrity news. Some fans(celebrity fanatics)wanted to know every move their fave stars were doing. There is nothing wrong with that, the media only gives what the viewers wanted and it is their(media)means of winning the public too. Without celebrity news, the media world will be boring, and viewers will not watch news either.

I am a member of the print media but I can honestly say I sometimes hate what some of my colleagues do with their stories. I don't like sensationalism so I keep all my articles sensible and sound. Unfortunately, there are other writers who only care about making waves with the next ridiculous or far-fetched stories that are, expectedly, get lapped up by the public. What is sad though is that those kinds of journalists are the ones making the industry look bad in the minds of thinking people.

I used to think that media is somehow annoying to certain people, especially to celebrity. Celebrity will like and hate media at the same time, because without media, they will never get known by other people and with media, what ever they did will publish to the public and if they did something bad, everyone will know. I do not hate or dislike media because I am not a celebrity :) But if one day I become a celebrity, I might....

There are only certain news broadcasters worth watching. I think BBC news is a reliable and unbiased source of news. FOX news is just a joke. Those sort of news stories you speak of are mostly worthless..Some can be intriguing and interesting though.

The Media is a joke. They pratically tell you things, people who aren't free thinkers believe them! Sometimes they say stuff like a dog is stuck in a tree... Haha

I don't like media and especially the news. In TV people can get so much negative energy that even if they have great life, they will start to think that they haven't - they start to scared from others, because there is so much terrorists, rubbers etc. Also the financial problems which is all over the wold can't to give positive thoughts. I think that in Nature we can get more good, also music can give some positive. But TV isn't my friend. So I throw it away some years before.

I like to watch the news but like you said that sometimes they get into the most ridiculous subjects. Lindsay Lohan for example, yesterday she went to jail and they were filming her journey to jail. Now do we really need to see all that? Then they started a discussion if this was really going to change her? They had psychologists, legal analysts, and they tried to inerview her family. Mel Gibson another one, yes they had an argument, who doesn't when it comes to divorce or child support. I don't mind hearing the news about this but do we have to predict, analyze, and repeatedly go over ever detail? I would hate to be in the news for something like that and couldn't we focus on more positive things in life?
