Do you sell anything on craigslist, and do you get any success?

I was thinking about selling something on craigslist, and hopefully I would make some sales there, while my other friends recommended me to do so. I just want to test how many people would look at my items, and how well my products will be sale online. So, if anyone here made any sales in craigslist, what are the best way to do it? post my product information, contact information and upload photos of the thing I want to sell? What else?

well good luck on selling. there are some who have gotten some good stuff in craiglist. i think their is a news about in yahoo.

I have sold and bought off of craigslist. A picture really helps. Leave a phone number. If you let them contact your from email use the one they give you that doesn't list you actual email but goes thru craigslist. Know that you will get spam. It is just a part of life anymore. If someone is really vauge I don't email back because they are looking for emails. If I want to buy something and I email I will always add my phone number so that they know I am a real person and not a scam. You may have to post a few times before it sells but the nice thing is that it is free. I would put them on towards the weekends as well I thing there are more people looking then. If you want to post it each day of the weekend just change your add up again or it won't let you post again. I know you can put a counter on your add but not sure how to do it I have seen them. Also if you items sell make sure you take down your listing. Good luck and happy selling
