Was it Their Time?

I don't know about most people, but,i tend to get very irritated when i hear people express their opinions on someone passing away by saying "i guess it was just their time" I simply do not believe in pre destination. How can anyone learning about a very young person or baby, who haven't even lived their lives passing away, state that it was just their time,People who have every reason to live, who contribute so much to society, people who die in tragic accidents are sometimnes referred top in this way, i even heard a priest say, in trying to explain the horrible loss of life when the World Trade Center was attacked, that we can't always understand God's ways, but, we need to understand that maybe it was "just their time. This makes no sense to me and i was wondering what your opinion is on this subject.
