Do you feel like you are more close to your friends than your brothers?

Everyone has a different situation I guess. But through what I experience, and what I saw, I think that sometimes it is easier to close to your friend than with your brothers. I don't why, maybe because your own brother may sarcast at every single way. The same thing I saw my father with my uncle. They were never close, and my father likes to hang with his friend rather than my uncle. Although my grandparents encourage them to get together just like brothers, my father felt much comfortable with his friends as he confessed to us. Would that be case for you?

Hi. kingparker. Yes, mainly I do. I hardly ever talk to my half brothers like that. I am friends with one of my half brothers on Facebook though. My other brother is supposed to be living in this same town that I now stay in. My sister was telling me that our dad was saying that he will be going off to college this year to live on campus. I guess that this is true. Me and him don't see each other a lot. I hope that we will see each other someday though. He is sweet to talk to when I do see him though. So is the same for my other half brother too.

That is a case to case basis. My siblings and i were very close to each other. There is no secret in between us. We are very close that we also wish our kids will have the same closeness and attitude towards each other. Thu my brothers and sister are far from me, the distant was never an hindrance for our closeness. We always call each other or send messages everyday or everytime we had the chance to do so. And,yearly we always had our family reunion. In some cases, siblings are not close to each other, but prefer to have been more close relationship with their friends. I can say, there is a relationship gap between them,or,maybe they had kept some hatred or ill feelings towards each other that keep them away for being close.
