Where should i travel in the US this fall?????

Im going on a trip this fall to anywere in the us i want but cant deside. I live in california so i kinda wanted to leave the state. any advise or cool suggestions. I love the beach and the mountains and the BIG city. (i.e. la, ny, ect.) Any thoughts?

For the mountains you would go to WV..and to have a big city in
wv you would go to Charleston.
Dont go to NY .. that's city but mountains.. I don't remember seeing them
there unless you consider buildings to be mountains.
