Pepsi products are dirty?

Not long ago I had a dinner with a friend. When he asked me what to drink I told him I would want any pepsi product but he said I shouldn't have one. I was wondering why so I didn't stop asking him until he said that he had heard or read from somewhere that pepsi products are dirty.
What???

Im a coke lover, but I havent heard of that thing about Pepsi here in Phils. maybe the guy isnt really for pepsi. Or maybe he is linked to the coca cola company, u

For starters, I'm a Coca~Cola fan!!! The Pepsi rumor may have come from the fact that back when Coke was on top in popularity, the Pepsi product sat in the warehouse for a good length of time & the tops of the bottles or cans became dusty. When they were stocked in the stores it seemed nobody ever cleaned them off first. So, they got a reputation for being a dirty drink!!! I think that since Pepsi's popularity has risen, this probably is NO longer true. I don't care what cola product it is, I wipe the top of the cans & wipe off the bottle BEFORE drinking from it!!! That way, I'm sure it's cleaner than it was when handed to me!!!!

is that actually true?
anyways, it has been a long time since i drink pepsi. i prefer other common drinks.
besides, pepsi is not common here in PH i think,.

well first of all i am a coke lover but not in that way the drink .
usally me and my friends always say how pesi was the dirty beach water drank not drink but drank and we a luagh but it may be your backwash
