I'm from Romania and I'm very curios what other people thing about Romania and their people.
Some of you may even not know where Romania is, but I don't mind.

this is sad...but the truth it's that it's only our fault. we do nothing to get a better image abroad. we promote it with stupoid drawings ( leaves) instead of making a real project. we're sorrounded by idiots, and idiots lead us

ah, yes!!! the poor cheap leaf of almost 1 milion euro, grr!
and we laungh the brand in shanghai, so that the big chinese spenders come to visit :))

I have a friend who is Romanian (she is from Bukarest), but she doesn't really talk about Romania so much. So what I know is mostly Transylvania, Dracula and all that stuff. I would really like to go to Transylvania one day, I hear they have amazing castles and stuff there!

WildCarpathia movie is a great view for people outside Romania to learn more about what nature, forests and wildlife is here.
Romania has the largest virgin forests left in Europe, and WWF Romania just took the first steps in getting it under strict protection.
Romania is pretty far behind on some aspects, especially mentality (many people but fortunately NOT all) in the sense that things like not throwing garbage on the floor, or stopping and thinking about other things except self welfare are still scarcely encountered.

Hi, I'm from China. What I know about Romania is that it is a East European country. I used to watch a TV program, which told us a story about a Romanian girl. Her husband used to work in Romania. The girl was the daughter of landlord. Before the man went back home, they got married and returned together. Nowadays the girl could speak very fluent Mandarin and became a TV star here.
