My husband and I live in a village in the countryside. It is a quiet place and it is pretty close to the beach. There are a couple of islands in the area where I live and I visit them quite often. The islands and the beaches are my favourite parts about the area where I live. Most of the other people from our village are much older than my husband and me, and we don't have a lot in common with them. I am a little sad there are no people around my age. If you moved away from the area where you live at the moment, what would you miss the most? And what are your least favourite parts about the area where you live?

My favourite thing about where i live is that it is so close to the town centre and is just a short train or bus journey away from central London. Having said that i certainly do not like the amount of crime in my area not to mention how expensive everything is.

It must be nice to live close to the town centre. I grew up in a big city and now I live in a village in the countryside. I sometimes miss living in a city or close to a city, because there are more shops, restaurants, pubs, schools etc in a city. The amount of crime is something that I don't miss from the city. I have lived in areas that weren't very safe, and my village is more peaceful. There isn't much crime here, and some people don't even lock their doors.

I live in a rural area. It's great to have a lot of space and freedom. That is my favorite part about where i live. My least favorite part would have to be that I have to travel a good distance to get a place to go shopping. There are just not many choices for that in my area. The best shopping is half an hour to an hour away.

I also live in a rural area, am I am in the same situation as you when I want to go shopping. There are some shops in a nearby town, but I prefer to go shopping in the big city which is an hour away by car. I am glad that we have a car, otherwise it would be hard to live here, because our village is very small.

The favorite part about where I live, is it is rural. No smog, no bad traffic like you would find in the city, and friendly people. The bad part of where I live is the shopping. Sometimes, this rural community doesn't have what you maybe looking for, so you have to try 30 miles to a bigger town to hopefully find what you are looking for. Kansas City is an hour west of me. Sometimes, I like to go there and find stuff that I know I can't find around here. Visit the different shopping centers, malls, and restaurants that are totally different from this area.

I know what you mean. The place where I live in also in a rural area, it is more peaceful than the city, there are less traffic and less pollution, but I need to drive to a bigger town if I want to go shopping, use the library or eat out. There is a supermarked is my village, but there are no other shops. I grew up in the city and I sometimes miss living at a bigger place, on the other hand I like the beaches and the islands around here.

I live in a small border city in China. Comparing with large cities like Beijing and Shanghai, my hometown is less crowded, less polluted, less stressed, less costly. It's pretty a good place to enjoy life. But there's also many disadvantages. It has less job opportunity, poorer education, fewer goods to choose, less medical support. Anyway, no matter where you are living, you'll lose some things while you are enjoying other things.

In many ways your hometown sounds like my village. It is less crowded, less polluted and more peaceful than the big cities, but there are few schools, few shops, few restaurants etc. When I lived in a big city I was able to walk to the mall and there were many different schools to choose from, now I always have to go by car or by bus if I want to go shopping, go to the library, go to school or things like that.

I love your living environment which you can visit many islands near your house often . That is a wonderful places I love to live . And you can enjoy your life at here , just like having a trip every day . And I suggest that you and your busband had better keep a good relationships with your neighbors ,that is also important for you . The age gap is not a problem for people . Do you think so ? Good luck to you .

Yes, it is very nice that there are so many islands in the area where I live, that is one of the things that I really like. I find it very interesting to explore the different islands. Some days ago I visited an island called Avernakoe. I had never been there before, and I enjoyed my time there very much. I walked around on the island for a couple of hours and it was very nice. In the future I am going to exploore some of the other islands in my area

The area I live in is northern minnesota and I love it dearly ....at least in the summer. Sure the winter is nice for awhile ,but after 8 months of snow and freezing cold you get alittle tired of it. When I move away I think the thing I'll miss least is the short growing season and the thing I'll miss most is moving away from where all of my family lives. It would get hard not being able to see your relatives for that long of a time.

8 months of winter that is a lot. In my country there are about 5 or 6 wintermonths, and I usually think that is enough Each year is different, sometimes we are able to sit in the garden in March and sometimes there is still snow in April. Yes, it is hard when you live far away from your family. I also like to live close to my family.

Sea shore is very nice place to live. Do you count the waves of the sea. It is very romantic when a person seats beside his or her partner in the shore. Surely you are passing happy days. We live in the cyclonic zone. Sea shore is not safe place to live for us.

My favourite part of the town I am from is a big sclupture in the town center. It looks just like a hude "male attribute" if you know what I mean. It is exactly in the center of the town and all the streets lead to there. About my least favourite part of my town - well how do I say it... I love everything there :D. So I don't have least favourite part. The town is small but it is pretty nice... And about the town that I live now... There are lots of parts in it I can't stand. For example many dirty streets and people who don't care about the fresh air and stuff.

It is nice to hear that you like everything about the town that you are from. I looked at your profile, and I can see that you are from Bulgaria. In two months I am going to visit your country for the first time, and I look forward to that
