I have a friend who always go to casino. She's always winning though he's not the one playing. She's just doing side bet. There are times that she would rather go to casino than report to work. She's actually asking me to go with her and try what she's doing. Very tempting because according to her, she's always winning. She even said that she can won twice our pay in just a night. I'm always telling to avoid doing it too often.

Gambling often for not the purpose of entertainment is a bad idead.People who gamble to make money or do it compulsively for a high or rush they get from the experience are the ones that have a problem. If you go to a casino with the idea that you are having fun and they money you spend is the cost of the entertaunment they you are a normal gambler that is not addicted. On the other hand if you are their 24 hours of the day all hours of the night gambling and chasing your loses you are a pathlogical gambler and should seek help before it financially destroys you and causes severe troubles for you.

Yeah going to a casino on a continual basis is just asking for you to loose your hard earned money. If you just go to a casino for say once a month and have a gambling budget set aside for it as well enjoy yourself and relax then yes gambling in this manor is perfect ally normal.People who go their open to close and blow their entire paycheck are the ones the casino loves and is not the way people should gamble at a casino. The casinos rely on these people to pay for the winners as well turn a profit and pay for rent staff salaries and food and drink. If everyone won then the casino would not be able to exist which is is shame as in order to pay winners a small majority have to suffer bad physically as well financially and a majority walk in the casino and leave with less than they started.

I have known people who have made a lot of money in the casinos and I suggest casinos should not be visited very often due to many potential risks involved in it.Every thing should be within the limits so that once we made some big money in casinos it's not necessary to put that money again in casinos.Winning quite often will definitely lead into temptations of going there again but think effects of gambling before making a move

In my religion gambling is prohibited. It has reasons. You mostly lose. As far as casinos are concerned, so the same thing happens there. The machines etc are set in such a way that the players mostly lose. So I think wasting money in casino, it is better to spend that in a small business and generate some good money from it. Oh by the way, gambling has got its psychological effects as well. You become a blood-pressure patient, and you get lots of tension issues.

Sounds to me like she is addicted to gambling. When it starts to affect your life by missing work, its not a good thing. I love to go to a casino. I go when I have extra money, which really limits me going. I feel if you can't afford to lose the money, you shouldn't go.

Well to my knowledge your work is always your first preference! You have the right to enjoy each and every moment of your life but not at the compromise of your work! Isn't it? So it is altogether wrong if someone goes only to casinos and does not pay attention to his work! To me your friend should first finish her duties than do whatever she wants! And you can join her as well! After all what's so bad about a casino if you have a mood of enjoying!

Casino is good to be, it is fun to play and have a nice time but too much of it is not good in life, I have been there and it is true that you cane earn more than your net pay in the office but it is also true that once you are tempted with money you can lose everything including your house in one night.

I only gamble when I go to Las Vegas and I only play the slots (mostly the penny slots and the quarters). I only go to Vegas once every three years to see my family. I am not a big gambler and I always make sure that my bills are paid off first before I do put away extra. My husband and I are going to Vegas this Christmas. I am sorry that your friend would much rather gamble than play. I feel that work is more important.

Guess that your friend is addicted to gambling. Is good that when your are free and with lots of money, you can spending your time at casino. But i think there is no way saying that a person can stop their normal job and earn money from gambling. Your friend get addicted to gambling because she thought that she can easily get money from there. But I sure there is no 100 percent winning in gambling. If she keep doing this for sure one day she will lose back all the money

I live in Las vegas NV USA I hope you know where it is and what it is. Your friend is not saying the truth. There is no such thing of winning all the time. You always end up loosing your shirt if you do not control your self. I wrote an EBOOK about gambling addiction , if you want to read it or your friend wants PM me. It's free to download and cost you nothing to be well informed about gambling, and what games you have better chance to walk away with your money.

I don't have anything against casinos themselves, but I think it is fairly easy to get addicted to gambling which is not a good thing. So if you think your friend is getting a bit obsessed with this new hobby of hers, you should try to persuade her to take a break from it at least.

I dont link gambling so I would say its not advisable or good to go to casino more often but maybe for some fun with friends and pleasure I will consider my self going to casino. Casino is just not the right place to chill coz you can get temped on playing and loosing some money and even more get addicted to it and spend more time and money and might lost everything you have, unless if you are a gambler the great and wise then you might have the chance for winning small or huge amount of money.

Are you sure she's always really winnig? Whenever I hear of someone who has won a lot of money, I wonder how much money they lost before they made their big win. My husband had a friend who was a regular Lotto player. He at one time won the largest lotto jackpot in Italy. Whenever he won, he invited my husband and other friends out to nice restaurants to celebrate his victory. My husband was invited to several such dinners. Then there were no more invitations to dinner. I asked my husband what happened. He told me his friend had lost his house. I don't mind occasional gambling as a social outing. You go out with friends to a casino as an alternative to going out to a show and dinner, or you make a special trip to somewhere like Las Vegas. Just determine how much money you are willing to spend on gambling, make sure you can afford it, and when that money is gone, stop gambling. Don't go gambling planning to win, because in the long term you won't

Yes, you are right by advicing your freind to not to go to casino..this way. Its okay..if you have gone to casino for fun..to experince something new for once or twice but not regularly. You know, this fun shall become habbit soon..and its not good. Everything goes well, till you are winning some small amount.. and then slowly you increase your bet money and there's likely to loose..and that big loss will bring many problems with it....Lot of stress and tension..and also causes mental sickness... I am telling all these with my small experince..I used o bet on line...and incurred losses, so was warned byt family and welwishers..and thank GOD I am away from that now..and happy with what I earn from the work..

if you think you have a lot of money then why not, as if you think you dont need your job since you really have a lot of money like those businessman out there then why not specially those who have nothing to do with their money. but if you go there even for the fact that you just borrowed money from someone else yet your job is not even enough to support your daily needs then why go there anyway. winning in casino is purely luck so if you dont have enough money dont better be contented with your job and try to look for other things that will help you make more money without neglecting your job nor yourself.

I don't like gambling. Life is already too much of a gamble, why add more. I'd rather spend my hard-earned money on things that I need. Maybe it's okay if you save a certain amount of money and gamble it away as long as you quit when you've used it all up. Like a gambling budget. lol! Unfortunately, people get addicted to gambling very easily. Like your friend. No offense, but if she skips work just to gamble, that's a different story. Maybe she should lie low from gambling so she won't get so hooked on it. You don't always win when you gamble. Like the saying says: "The house always wins."
