The White Ribbon (Das Weisse Band)

Has anyone seen The White Ribbon (the german movie that was nomminated for the best foreign film at the Oscars)? What do you think about it? Don't you think that it should've won the prize for the best film instead of El Secreto de Sus Ojos (The Secret in Their Eyes)? I also liked the Argentinian movie, but I think the German one was a lot stronger, although it is more subtle. There are a lot of subtle details that mean something. What do you think?

I have seen both films and enjoyed both. Sort of a toss up. Maybe you are right that The White Ribbon is better.
