Whats the most annoying time for the phone to ring?

Everytime the phone rings is annoying to me LOL...i am not a big fan of the phone and if I could get away with not having one I wouldn't but I also know that it is nice to have one for appts and emergencies. I think the time I hate the most is right when we sit down for dinner because I swear atleast 5 nights a week the phone rings right as we sit down for dinner most of the time it is my husbands good friend from out of state or his mother from out of state.

it definatly has to be anytime after 9pm,coz i class that as my time to watch telly in peace,and on a school night my son is trying to get to sleep at that time

Probably right when I'm going to sleep. It's so hard for me to fall asleep, at any time. So when I'm drifting off and the phone rings - arggh! And I have to answer it because I don't have caller ID. I have an answering machine, but there are a few people I know who won't leave a message on the thing. Which is also annoying. lol

When i'm just sleeping, i want to sleep in peace, i have had many experience of mid night calls from my friends and even more missed calls.. For that purpose, i will change my mobile's profile to silent or sleepy.. Still they don't leave me, they call my Land line and disturb when i tweet that i am going to sleep.. The other thing, the service providers calling often and describing about the offers they have and i have no interest in those offers..

Hi Apples, The most annoying time for me for the phone to ring is when I lie down for a nap in the afternoon. I don't do that every day, but when I do I hate it when the phone wakes me up. If my husband isn't home, I try to call him before I lie down to make sure he won't call me for a couple of hours or so. I also hate it when I'm in the shower. I used to try to answer it, but now I just let whoever it was wait until I call them back when I'm out of the shower. I only call back a relative or friend in that case. It's also very annoying when telemarketers call around dinner time or later in the evening. I am usually very grumpy to them when that happens! I feel that my phone should be closed and off limits after 5 pm just like a company unless it is family or friends calling.
