People wearing their Identity Card tags in public place--i don't like them..

Well, this is a very bad practice..I have seen most of them(95%) wearing their identity cards in public place wherever they go, just to show others that they work for such company...I presume that identity cards are issued only to wear them in the company premises and not to roam with it everywhere in public and create a scene ..
Such that others like me, who are trying to get a job should see them and give respect to them..
My only question, if i'm wrong, why he\she should wear his identity card when he is returning from his office in a public bus to his home? why dont they keep it in their bag?
Don't say that they will lose it if they keep it in pocket or bag, because u keep your mobile phone, your purse in your pocket and u don't lose it...
Just give me some valid points why do they wear it in public places?

First you tell me why you are angry on that people. It is their personal choice and if they want to keep on the same on their way, let them enjoy it. I too have seen both men and women are holding their I-card on their way back to home. I never felt like you. I have never looked on their card too.
But I will tell you an incident, one of my neighbour met an accident and he was wearing the office Identity card which helps the traffic people to reach his office people immediately. He became unconscious when some vehicle hit his scooter. His wife told me that his ID card helps to contact his office and people reached the spot immediately. They informed home only after hospitalizing him and given treatment.

I am doing fine..How u doing?
This is the time, i'm looking for a IT job, when i see people wearing id tags in bus\train it makes me to reach at my top level of anger..
I don't know why it happens..
When i get a job, for sure, i wont do like that, i don't wanna show others..
Thats the main reason why our country is like this..
While u see the foreigners , they never tell others that what they are doing..

I not that I dont like them. I just find it funny especially those who are working in call centers. They were their ID even if they are at the mall or in the public transportation. Some employees in call center boast that they work in a call center.

I think it is everyone's personal choice though I do not like the idea of wearing our identity cards in public places. I make sure I keep my identity card in my bag before getting out of the premises. I do not want to roam around in public places with my identity tag!!

Hi gunagohan,
You have a valid point, some poeple like to showoff that way. But at the same time i guess some are completely unaware of the fact or, are being too lazy to do remove that after a tiresome day, maybe. I would not like wearing one of those after my day is done.

I don't like wearing Identity Card tags in a public place.Its the Identity card made for us to wear in a office but not in a public place.we look very cheap to roam in a street with Identity Card and on top of that there is chances of getting lost in the public.So its better to keep in the pocket or either in a bag safely and wear when necessary.
