I recently created an amount of new pages on a few web 2.0 sites and yet Google has not crawled them. Do you experience Google taking more time to crawl websites or it just me?

One technique you can use is getting an account at Identi.ca (it's a Twitter-like service). Then, post a link to you site in your profile and also somewhere in the status updates and your website will get indexed faster. There are other ping services that you can use as well, but I haven't really tried any of those.

Yeah I know identica. I even have an account and completely forgot about it thank you for reminding me. I came to know about identica when a member from black hat world came with a secret method to gain very strong backlinks.

Yup. I'm a BHW member, too. And that's where I read about Identi.ca and how websites get indexed in no time.

Got banned there but it's absolutely a must for internet marketeers. What do you do on the internet to make money?

Yes the number of pages have been increasing by the minute and well let's face many not so great so there are a vast majority they have to weed out. But I agree with about identica, every bit helps.

Yes I understand, what I meant was that they have oh so many irrelevant pages to go through which they are growing by day and well it is taking them twice as long if not quadruple the amount of time to get to the good ones!

Same here. What could be slowing them down?
